Total Child Preschool Evanston

Finding the right preschool for your child is a challenge. Every parent has their list of things they feel are absolutely essential, but many parents, especially first-time parents, forget one vital feature that any preschool must have: an open spot for your child.

Most of you reading this are probably aware of how difficult it can be to get into a preschool. They fill up fast, and it’s not uncommon for parents to register their children for a preschool shortly after they’re born (and some will try to do it before the birth!). The waiting lists for preschools can be long enough to essentially make them meaningless- by the time a spot opens up for your child they could be in elementary school already.

All too often parents are forced to throw out their list of requirements in favor of any preschool with an opening. They settle for the first place they can get their kid into, and then they’re stuck with a preschool they really don’t like.

That doesn’t have to be you, though! Total Child Preschool is now accepting enrollment for the 2022-2023 school year, and we’re sure they can check off all the boxes on your list.

Total Child is small enough that your child will get plenty of individual attention, while still socializing extensively with children their own age. The play-based curriculum will keep them engaged and active throughout the day.

We know that many parents fear the preschool will just sit the kids in front of a screen for the whole day, but that’s not going to happen at Total Child. Their curriculum will stimulate your child, keep them moving, and above all will help them grow and develop while having fun.

This is a nonsectarian preschool- families of all religious, cultural, and economic backgrounds are welcome. You needn’t worry about your child not fitting in or being taught something you’d find objectionable. They’ll be around children with different backgrounds, so they’ll be exposed to a lot of diversity from a very young age.

In fact, you’ll find that Total Child creates an environment that’s nurturing, warm and inclusive. They seek to develop each child not just physically and mentally, but emotionally, and socially as well. This way they arrive in kindergarten and elementary school with all the tools they need to navigate their increasingly complex social lives in ways that are healthy.

Finally, we know that many parents are concerned about safety, particularly when it comes to COVID. Rest assured that Total Child shares your concerns for safety, and requires that anyone who enters the facility be vaccinated and wear a mask.
