The Little Dancer: A Reimagining of Le Petit Prince performed by Evanston Dance Ensemble

Come celebrate ede2’s celebratory anniversary season with an original dance production “The Little Dancer: A Reimagining of Le Petit Prince” live at Evanston Public Library! For all ages including children ages 3 and older with parents and caregivers. No advanced registration required. Please arrive early to secure a seat.

About the Story

This out-of-this-world production follows the story of a pilot marooned in the desert when she meets a mysterious stranger who traveled to Earth from a far away planet in search of the meaning of connection and friendship. This all ages family-friendly show features an eccentric cast of characters who populate various planets, such as space royalty, a talking rose and a friendly fox, who all teach The Little Dancer unique lessons on becoming a good person and how to care for others.

About the Production

For ede2’s celebratory anniversary season, the production will feature original music composed by Chicago Recording Academy Governor Tim Corpus, narration by actress Kelsey Cally and a lineup of professional choreographers such as GREYSCALE Artistic Director Jessica Kondrath and Jus.Be House Collective’s co-founder Jordan Ordonez. The Little Dancer production is a recipient of the Illinois Arts Council Creative Projects Grant for 2026.
